2016

Let's talk about goals!

Last year, all I really wanted to do was to cut down on all my makeup/personal care products a bit. I think that experiment was a resounding success! I beat my goal by something like 500%.

This year, I want to do things a bit differently. I'm still pushing hard to use up some of the many, many products I still have in my stash (I don't even want to count...). However, I want to shift my focus a little wider, and partake in the 365 Less Things challenge. The general idea is to give away, throw away, use up, donate, or sell one item every single day. I think I can make this work! We have so many things that are really just taking up space, and I'm making it my mission to make it happen!

I've also become a lot better at just getting rid of products that don't work for me, rather than keeping them around and struggling to get through them. I still get that twinge of guilt for wasting them, but I'm taking it as a lesson learned to stop impulse buying!
